Having recognised the need for small businesses to create a presence on the web I provide a service which fulfills that need creatively and at a reasonable cost.
Coming from a background in computing and multimedia development in higher education I specialise in individually designed web-solutions for small businesses with a bias towards the arts. I have produced websites in a number of areas including the music industry, visual arts, life coaching and complementary therapies. (hence art e media)
It is important to reflect the right image in all of these areas and I take pride in developing designs to match my clients' expectations. A website is a very personal statement for an individual running their own business and I take the time and effort to make sure that a client is happy with the end result.
Aiming for simplicity of design and appropriate use of technology, you will get an individually tailored solution. I look at visual design, content design, usability, and maintainablity. Many clients want to be able to maintain and change the website themselves in the long term and I take this into account in the way I design the site. Most clients find it an easy and simple process to change content using the guidance and documentation I provide.
